When you start the sign-up process for Intrusta, we identify you as a unique user and assign a token to your computer. Once you get to the "Payment" section of the sign-up process and go to submit your personal payment information, we use that identity token to sign all communications. This makes sure the data that you send can only be used within your account. We also make sure that every request is only valid for a very short period of time, so no one else can do bad things with your data. If the time on your computer is off by as little as five minutes from the time that the payment is being submitted, we can't verify your security signatures and must reject the request.
What can we say.. as a security company, we take the security of your payment information seriously! And fear not: it's simple to check your time and then update it if it's wrong. Please continue reading for instructions regarding your operating system.
