Security software applications from companies that are not Identity Guard may cause an issue with your Identity Guard Device Secure app including expired or trial versions. For instance, if you already have other antivirus product installed, such as Norton, or McAfee, your Identity Guard Device Secure app might fail to install or run correctly.

Windows 10
- Open the start menu or the use the search bar and type Control Panel.
- Click on Control Panel
- Go to Programs & Features or Uninstall a Program
- Scroll down to the program you wish to uninstall and click on it once
- Then click Uninstall
- Click Yes when prompted
- Then follow any prompted provided.
- Wait for the uninstallation to complete
- If prompted to Restart, choose Yes.
- If you are still seeing remnants of your old antivirus software on your computer, scroll down and use one of the antivirus removal tools.
Windows 8/8.1
